The first is that their food sucks. If I want a boring-ass white-bread sandwich, I will save myself the $$$ and make my own.

Even a Subway sandwich is better. At least there's a variety to the toppings and condiments. They have squat at JJ's.

I tried to order exactly one time, at a store a couple blocks from my office. They couldn't even toast the bread!

No interesting meats, or cheese, or toppings, and they didn't even have a toaster. I would eat my notebook before I eat a lame-ass ham sandwich on white bread. Yuck.

7. I had a dream a few nights ago abt a sandwich I ordered about 20 years ago (no kidding)

from a Mom-and-Pop establishment in Virginia, near where I worked, and now I can't stop thinking about it.

Crusty artisan bread
Big slabs of roasted turkey
Cream cheese slathered on the bread
Cranberry sauce as a second condiment (not the gel crap, but home made)

Damn it, that was good, and I don't even like cranberry sauce. Now I'm hungry!

... but I REALLY regret reading that thread. It drove me crazy. Allll the stupid comments like "what has that got to do with black people?" Dear. God. As if, in the very least, it didn't have to do with Bubba Wallace. So many like that. Tweet after tweet of pics of cowboys & pirates and 14th century traitors hanging from nooses. Yeah, right, that's what those brilliant teenagers were thinking - "let's make a noose like 14th century kings in Europe! That'd be way cool! Yeaaaah!"

I need to calm down.
