(15,250 posts)I don't know what makes (r)epuglicons so vulnerable to bribes and blackmail. Perhaps it's a prefrontal cortex thing (the part that reasons.)
Dems have been caught out many times in the past, but having a wholesale group of (r)s in the senate and house (and states) being able to be coerced is almost a miracle. Not one that Jesus would want, but a god-send for the Kremlin.
So why do certain two-legged maybe high-school educated Americans vote for (r)epuglicons? Obviously the USSR can't pay every RWNJ $100 per vote/appearance?
Or maybe they (the USSR) can. High quality printing presses, $100 bills with ink on both sides, Treasury department under control of a boss that is a Kremlin mole....

I'm just now re-reading "The Tell-Tale Brain" (V. S. Ramachandran) which documents many cases of malfunctioning brains. Along with Oliver Sacks and others, there are good examples of craziness.
Wonder if the proven link between conservatism and fear has some physical neurological basis.
