In a Trump campaign meet-up this week, Rep. Dan Crenshaw said the left "stands for the destruction of America” and "even liberal veterans probably don’t agree with that, unless you’re Tammy Duckworth.”

He’s right up there with Gaetz in being a 100% clown.

7. I remember when SNL's Pete Davidson had to apologize because Dan Cringeshaw had a hissy fit

On Nov. 3, 2018, “Saturday Night Live” cast member Pete Davidson mocked Texas Republican Dan Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who lost his eye in an IED explosion while serving his third tour in Afghanistan, for wearing an eye patch. In a “Weekend Update” segment ahead of the midterm elections, Davidson compared Crenshaw to “a hit man in a porno movie,” adding: “I’m sorry. I know he lost his eye in war or whatever.”

A week later, the scene that played out on the SNL set was one that fans had probably never seen before. Davidson was sitting next to Crenshaw behind the “Weekend Update” desk — and the comedian was apologizing to the newly elected congressman.

“I made a joke about Lieutenant Commander Dan Crenshaw, and on behalf of the show and myself, I apologize,” said Davidson. He later added: “I mean this from the bottom of my heart. It was a poor choice of words. The man is a war hero, and he deserves all the respect in the world.”

More at the link about how he was forced to apologize with Cringeshaw sitting next to him. Dan will never measure up to Sen Tammy Duckworth.

Not with this bullshit (the OP), I just read it; but when Tucker Fucker Carlson was attacking Duckworth. As I recall, he "The Fucker" also shit himself with the performance and talked about how it disrespected veterans.

Of course, Tammy said (in regards to the SNL skit):

In November 2018, Duckworth defended Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Tex.), a fellow wounded veteran, after he was the butt of a joke on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. “This is absolutely appalling,” she wrote on Twitter. “No one should ever mock a Veteran for the wounds they received while defending our great nation, regardless of political party or what you think of their politics.” Washington Post

Once again - we (including Duckworth) come to the defense on principle.

This is why I'm so heartless to the opposition.

14. Well I suppose Sen Duckworth should send Dan 'the Hit Man in a Porno Movie' Crenshaw

that statement. She lost way more than her vision, Dan appears to never had much vision to begin with.

8. I would argue that dismissing citizens that are airing grievances is un-American.

Wasn't this country founded on the belief that the people should have the freedoms of speech and assembly precisely to be able to disagree with how it is run? Senator Duckworth is simply advocating that people who view an issue differently that she does are worthy of a dialog.

It is your side, Congressman, that is truly undermining the Founder's ideals by falsely painting those you disagree with as wishing for the "destruction of America" and therefore not worthy of voicing their opinions. There is a lot of unresolved history in this country, and talking about should make us stronger - not destroy the nation.

Your contribution to the conversation is amplifying the divisions in the country, not the Senator's.
