Trump Says Roger Stone's Prayer For A Pardon 'May Be Answered'

After suggesting in two interviews on Thursday that he would consider granting a pardon or clemency to former adviser Roger Stone, President Trump confirmed on Friday that he will “be looking at it.”

The president told reporters on Friday, according to POLITICO, that it seemed unfair to him that his former confidant was sentenced to prison while some of his own opponents walk free for a host of other baseless accusations he’s made against them and ramped up in recent days.

“And in the meantime, [former FBI Director James] Comey and all these guys are walking around, including Biden and Obama, because we caught them spying on my campaign,” he continued. “Who would have believed that one?”

On Thursday, when Fox News commentator Sean Hannity asked the president if he is considering a pardon or commutation for Stone, Trump responded, “I’m always thinking.”

You are forgiven and blessed -- go forth and repeat your crimes in my name.

After Joe is in place, we need the feds to catch Stone in a federal crime, and then squeeze him for all that he knows. Maybe we get big crimes that will put Trump and Manafort in prison.

Honestly, being able to use it an an effective way to paint Trump as corrupt and abusing his power to help his friends stay out of jail would be more valuable to me than seeing Roger Stone sit in jail for a couple of years.

The only people who want him to pardon Stone are the same people who are going to vote for him no matter what, so doing this doesn't help him with anyone. When he claims he's a "Law and Order" President we can just bring up him pardoning Stone

I doubt trump understands the difference.

If he does, someone needs to file suit claiming the pardon is illegal because they are co-conspirators. That will freeze up his ability to pardon.

If there are any working brain cells left, that is probably why he hasn't pardoned anyone yet. He only gets one bite before the challenges are brought.
