It's Friday, will Trump pardon Stone late tonight.

I have no doubt Trump wants to pardon Stone, however, we all know how Trumps brain works. If he sees a profit for himself he will pardon Stone. If he thinks he will not profit, Stone will be going to prison. That's how I see it.

Apparently Barr has asked him NOT to pardon Stone nor commute his sentence because the DOJ would be in open revolt.

We shall see.

Trump will bury you if it's in his best interest. It doesn't matter how close you think you are to him.

And even if he does, it'll backfire spectacularly when Stone has to testify in upcoming trials cuz if he lies, off he goes to the slammer. They'll both end up in prison eventually.

Basically I agree. He's never doing anything unless it benefits him personally, and I can't see this benefiting him.

12. If Stone accepts the pardon he can't plead the 5th and be compelled to testify.

So he better think long and hard about this.
