Ever hear of zombie wasps?

Hadn't thought about them since my microbiology days until I saw Ron Desantis. Is it possible that there's a swarm of zombie wasps going around making republicans mindlessly do Trump's bidding? Is that too foo far fetched to even contemplate? If it is then how else can you explain his wanting to send children to school during the middle of a pandemic with the numbers in his state going through the roof?
