RWers are claiming Biden will be a puppet of leftwing Dems b/c they fear Biden's appeal to voters

They know Biden -- the real Biden -- will appeal to a lot of Republicans and independents who voted for Trump in 2016, or sat out that election because they didn't want either Trump or Clinton.

Those RWers know Biden's decency and integrity make him the perfect contrast to Trump, and that many voters will recognize Biden as the antidote to Trumpism and all the damage it's caused.

So they have to try to pretend that Biden himself will not be in charge. That he isn't competent to lead. That he'll only be a tool of Democrats to his left (Sanders and AOC being named most often).

There's nothing but fear behind this RW talking point. Which I've been hearing or reading quite a few times a day lately.
