I find spitting on someone to be one of the most disrespectful things. From a health stand point, it is dangerous and from a social standpoint it is disgusting.

I would normally say that the best thing is to walk away from a confrontation, but that was too much.

I remember in high school there was a very socially awkward boy in one of my classes and another who would occasionally make fun of him. One day the awkward kid was being made fun of by the other kid and came back with a pretty good comeback that caused some in the class to laugh at the other guy. The other guy got mad and pushed the awkward kid down then then spit in his face, normally I would have said, "It's just guys insulting each other" but when he spit in the awkward kid's face, I lost it. I threw the other kid against the wall and smacked him. I don't know but like I said, spitting at someone, to me is just such a disgusting thing.

NEW WESTMINSTER (NEWS 1130) – Transit Police are looking for several people involved in a fight that saw slaps exchanged and spit lobbed on a TransLink bus, all of which was caught on film.

Adeola Oyebula posted a nine-second video of the fight to Twitter on Sunday that shows an elderly woman being held back by a younger woman while the elder spits on someone off camera. The younger woman then shoves the lady into a seat and slaps her on the head, which knocks her to the floor of the bus.
