Basically to send a very obvious message.
If you work for me but cross me (Cohen), you are not protected and you will go to jail.
But if you work for me and stay loyal to me (Stone), dont worry. Youll be fine.
And he needed to do this all on back to back days just to drive home the point.
Just hypothesizing, but I really wouldnt put it beyond Trump at all.

(31,968 posts)They asked him to sign a paper saying he would not be having media conferences (perfectly reasonable for someone who is supposed to be in home confinement) and he would not do it. So he was taken back in.

So he could not write his book. He better hope Barr does not visit him. The cameras will be turned off, the 2 Guards sleeping!

(31,968 posts)First, the book is already written. Second, he is a federal prisoner. When you are a prisoner, whether actually in a prison or in home confinement, you have no rights. None. Cohen felt he was entitled, and was not going to sign their agreement. So now he is back in prison. I hope he enjoys his stay considering he could have been at home.
