Putin wasn't using Trump to annex Ukraine

1. And yet while we say how bad it is here,

the Russian buildup (in anticipation of the September war games Donbass-adjacent?) continues. Ukraine's beefed up its weaponry, mostly defensive, as Russia moves updated hardware close to the border. Right through all the COVID business.

Of course some leaks through the border. But Putin's an issue that's purely domestic to the US for most people.

If the American people were a Tower with Trump's name on it, he'd have kept the Pandemic Team in place & prevented it from being destroyed.

3. Right on the money.

I've been posting on news sites this morning, writing the same theme. Putin's victory is nearly complete in this quiet, bloodless war. Trump is doing everything Putin wants. Everything. Putin is winning a war while the US citizenry is completely unconscious. Putin has a patsy running the White House and the US. Putin is ordering Trump to decimate the Rule of Law because it's good for Putin. Russia doesn't necessarily want to physically destroy the US. He doesn't have to. The US as it is contains trillions of dollars, much of it in the US Treasury. Putin will order Trump to open the Treasury for his Oligarchs. He wants himself and the Oligarchs to rob the Treasury, which, BTW, is the objective of all wars of aggression. Putin, with Trump as his patsy, is perfectly positioned to enrich himself and the Oligarchs and impoverish the US. THAT'S the point of this war.
