I Don't Believe For One Second That Barr Wasn't Involved In The Stone Matter

First off, he's as big a liar as his boss. I think Barr has done so many egregious things lately, such as last night, that they're trying to lower the temp for him. And, Barr, in the past, has said Stone was treated unfairly. 4 Pinocchios for him as far as I'm concerned.

We are all talking about Roger Stone today and not the fact that he was able to get rid of the US Attorney in the Eastern District of NY last night too.

that Barr is trying to protect Trump for the rest of his presidency (may it be short) because he's a rigid ideologue who believes in the principle of the unitary executive; he has advanced that principle since he worked for Reagan and then Bush I. I don't think he cares about Trump personally (he probably doesn't even like him; nobody else does) but he will do his bidding because that's what he thinks the presidency requires. And because he's a hard-core conservative he wants Trump re-elected so as to keep the GOP in power. This means he will do whatever he can to delay court proceedings involving Trump until after the election and to install hand-picked US Attorneys in districts where those proceedings are taking place, to slow them down if not to derail them altogether.

Barr must realize that Trump's chances of re-election are not very good so far, and the only thing that's protecting Trump from legal jeopardy is the presidency. If Trump loses, he and his businesses and his sleazy family are all fair game for the new AG and new prosecutors since the new AG could remove Barr's stooges if they turn out to be as stoogey as he hopes they'll be. Barr himself might be under a microscope for some of the shit he's pulled. I don't think Barr gives a damn what happens to Trump himself when he's no longer president, but he might be worried about his own ample ass.

and connections to Epstein.

I don't think this is all about his views on the powers of the presidency.
