Given the demographics of Orange County, it’s clear that the Republicans wield undue power and have too much influence on policy.

Then tell them their job is to stand in the halls between ALL classes, then mop the floors and repeat all day.
Stagger the classes to that they are constantly exposed to waves of unmasked students in the halls...

The schools would be re-closed before lunch.

hearing and most speakers came from a non-sensical, religious, political, or strident place IMHO. Clearly there was organization to tilt the hearing this way and it was chilling.

Trumpism on display.

Orange County still has a fierce Republican stronghold. Southern CA was a Republican region till the last 20 years.

because they encourage local school systems to open, when the local systems can choose not to open, how they are reopened (reduced days and hours, etc.), and parents can choose to keep their kids at home?
