(95,258 posts)Something fresh, to clear out the musty cobwebs of the mind?
A good airing out can do wonders when one is stuck so deep in the rut he cannot see over its lip.

(95,258 posts)It is clear your present hobby is not making videos, but rather is posting up things like this video incessantly. It has become far too predictable, and neither interests nor entertains. Certainly it does not inform --- no one you address here is ignorant of these people's backgrounds.

(7,681 posts)I haven't posted at all since Saturday. Posting videos takes a couple of seconds.
A couple of seconds every three days really isn't much of a hobby.

(7,702 posts)Some like to attack certain posters for some odd reason. I posted two completely different articles and was accused of double posting.
I'm thinking they read who posted the article or video first, attack the poster second and never even read, or watch the OP.
This video was so funny, you had to laugh at least once!

I think that there can be no denying that there's a certain element of tedious predictability in the timing of the posts. And with regard to overall content, the posts are most assuredly suffering from an absence of useful or helpful or new information. It's all predigested and repetitious. That's simply my own opinion and even though a few may disagree, it's easy to see that a much larger percentage of individuals agree with me (based on what I've seen here and elsewhere).

LOL!!!
I wish I had the skills to make something this hilarious.
And I can only imagine. I'm sure it would be very ugly.

(36,486 posts)It was just a setup for the ending. YMMV, but the ending was the only entertaining bit of the whole thing.

(83,979 posts)He teamed up with the king of comedy, the man that played a repub on teevee And had so many people fooled. Colbert always had a gotcha in the end.
Welp. Ricks smirk in the end was perfect.
I am heartbroken that you dont like Colbert and seemingly believe he is a repuke.
Psst....he is a comedian and a good one. He is also a Democrat.

(18,371 posts)but then again I don't know much (if anything at all) about impotent fury.
Brother Buzz
(36,486 posts)That being said, I can believe Rick Wilson may borrow 'impotent fury' and use it down the road to describe the orange anus' antics with delicious results.

(16,531 posts)I dont give two shits what Rick Wilson does after Trump is gone. Thats his business. Its not a fucking marriage. He doesnt owe me an explanation. The purity dead Enders take it too personally.
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)I agree. I've seen Dead Enders all over the Internet. They disgust me with their efforts to make things easier for Trump, all for the sake of showboating and trying to demonstrate how pure they are. It really serves no good purpose.

(360 posts)including some very hard-hitting ads that we cannot air ourselves.
They are keeping Trump off balance and throwing him off his game.
And we have some people complaining!

(83,979 posts)We had people telling us for years that we had a big tent and we needed to reach out to Republican voters. Now we actually have someone doing something about it and its wrong? Seriously?

(7,813 posts)They may be fighting the good fight at the moment, but I refuse to warm up to anyone who was a rethug during the 1990s. If they supported the political cabal that supported monsters like Gingrich, Cheney, Bolton, etc., etc., they have to start their journey back from scum by doing a lot more than make a few videos.
I like TLP's videos - it's nice not being on the receiving end of their viciousness for once, but they have a lot of explaining and soul searching to do before they can be considered worth the trouble.

Fuck Rick Wilson and his grifting project.
Im just grateful that the younger generations are less susceptible to falling for this kind of con.

(2,328 posts)He is trying to rehabilitate the image of the Republican Party by disowning Trump. He's being helped in that effort by desperate foolish democrats and raking in big bucks while he's doing it.
He has nothing but contempt for Democrats and Joe Biden.

(95,258 posts)It is like the last ten years or so simply vanished....
The odd thing about that '57 states' wheeze, by the way, is that there actually are 57 primary/caucus contests --- in addition to the fifty states, five territories, DC, and for expatriates, the 'overseas' balloting.
George II
(67,782 posts)In fact, as of Sunday 56 "states" have voted, with only Connecticut remaining in August.
But it makes for good theater for some.

(19,569 posts)He's actively turned on Trump and the Republicans who have been propping him up.
Sure, he's not getting a seat at the table when it comes to policy. He knows this, they all do. They openly discuss this and accept it. Trump is so bad (wiping his tush with our Constitution of the United States of America), even these people are fed up.
What you posted is more a testament to how serious they are now than anything else.
Enjoy them selling out their party to unseat Trump and many of his vile enablers in the Senate.
Relax, you're gaining and not losing a damn thing here.
Eliot Rosewater
(31,131 posts)then good.
We can go back to treating people like him the way they deserve to be treated AFTER we put out the fire that is ACTUALLY killing us, for real, actually killing someone in your family in all likelihood and mine.
Think about that for a minute.
Also, I am confused why any liberal would be so bothered by a group working so hard to remove the traitor
I mean the ONLY result of what the Lincoln group is doing can be is less votes for traitor, so yeah, call me confused.
Eliot Rosewater

Sure hope that fucking changes this time around, otherwise we could all be fucking dead in a few years.

(14,971 posts)win the Presidency. We're not taken in by anybody's grift. We want to win by any means possible. Too bad younger generations are also less susceptible to actually showing up and voting.

(19,569 posts)But the pretzel logic is kind of funny. I mean, how the F do you think the toon and the dialogue coordinated? Come on man, it was a toon and not a live interview?! Seriously, who is silly enough to take this this as literal? Seeing this propagated by anti Biden folks on social media has seriously made me lmao!
In the end we're neither one of us is wrong.
herding cats
(19,569 posts)I'm mean, damn. It's painfully obvious, folks. How else would the dialogue fit correctly?
Think. We all have brains use them!
If we'd have done that in 2016 we'd not be where we are today. I'm just sayin'. #DumpTrump2020
It's actually kind of cool to see Colbert doing this! He deliberately just drew more eyes to the Lincoln Project!
