if he didn't.

Trump is afraid of Stone, because he knows who Stone is, what he knows, and what he'd do if Trump left him hanging.

I’d watch my back. Trump might silence him permanently. Stone might be Epsteined. No kidding. Trump wants to control everything, which means he wants no one to be able to out him.

Long ago, Stone made a deal with the devil. Now that devil is personified in Trump, who is able and ready to cash in his chips, including the bundle he has from Stone. Trump will bide his time before he determines that Stone is out there, knows too much, and will have to go.

In the hours before the commutation on Friday, Mr. Stone said Mr. Trump knew he could count on him. “He knows I was under enormous pressure to turn on him,” Mr. Stone told the journalist Howard Fineman. “It would have eased my situation considerably. But I didn’t. They wanted me to play Judas. I refused.”

8. Yup, no question about it...this was entirely quid pro quo for Stone's continued silence

Stone: "That's a nice presidency ya got over there, really nice. Be a shame if someone came along and offered me a sweeter deal to tear it down then what you've done for me to date..."

Cowardly Painted Clown: "Here, they told me to commute your sentence so those Dems can't make you testify and you retain your amendedable privileges and rights."

Stone: "Good Boy, now piss off."
