NYT. Live: Alabama State Primary Runoff Election Results 2020 (Link)

New York Times Live Election Coverage

U.S. Senate Republican Primary Runoff
Jeff Sessions is seeking political redemption after his tormented tenure as President Trump’s attorney general. Mr. Trump, determined to deny Mr. Sessions his old Senate seat, endorsed Tommy Tuberville, the former Auburn football coach. The winner faces Senator Doug Jones.

Polls close at 8 PM EST.

Nicole Wallace and her guests were saying that this race might be worth watching in order to study the margin of difference between Sessions and Tuberville to gauge allegiance to Trump in Alabama.

It would be interesting to know what the turnout has been like.

I always like to see Trump's picks defeated, but maybe this clown Tuberville would be easier for Doug Jones to defeat in November?

...will win, but Sessions would be crazy not to run as an Independent candidate for the General election.

That idea about Sessions running as an Independent is fascinating. It seems like that would split the Conservative vote...

exactly what I'm talking about. Sessions is a vile racist, and to be honest, is probably worst than Tubberville, but splitting the conservative vote could possibly pose a bit of a chance for Doug Jones.
