Not sure there are many procedural options that would survive the McConnell wrecking ball if it comes to it.

Take any random 4 million republicans, combine them and their parents and grandparents which is what, 12 million people, she is smarter and a better person than all of them combined.

The context of the discussion, at least as I read it, was about what would happen in the Senate.

McConnell would ram this through, and the fact they would be replacing a librul like RBG would give a big boost to republican senate races.

Actually, it was exasperation rather than happiness. Did the Republican slamming through of Kavanaugh not indicate how currently helpless Democrats are in the Senate ? There were plenty of protests against that too, which got nowhere either. If an SC position became available before Nov 3rd, the GOP would use it as a bargaining chip with the US electorate. If it was after the election they would still ram it through anyway.

Mitch would push through a Trump nominee 20 minutes before the new Senate was to take over if he had to.
