"I would say the percentage of people wearing masks, I would say maybe 5%. There were some people wearing masks, but not many," he said.

Peterson wasn't wearing a mask, but he said that if the festival's organizers required it going forward, he would adhere to the rule.

"Around here you can get it," Peterson said about the coronavirus, "but we just aren't like the big ... you know, New York, Minneapolis, or Los Angeles -- we're just in a different spirit than they are."

Leaders of the event declined CNN's request for comment.

This follows on the heels of Trump's July 4th South Dakota Black Hills, Mt Rushmore rally of 4000 maskless ppl, & from the rally on into the nearby Deadwood casinos.
Red Trump State, North Dakota where this maskless concert took place, is about a 2 hr drive apart.

As if Trump hasn't decimated enough, the economies of both western ND & SD, he'll finish them off with COVID.

Guitar player died in the fire.
IIRC, scorched lungs.
They set off pyro without wetting combustible ceiling foam.
That said, acoustic foam in a public building, by code, is supposed to be noncombustible.
So, the club owner was culpable, too.
We used pyro in our shows. We wetted anything suspect and had 6 fire extinguishers on stage, with sound tech, lighting tech and spotlight operator with their own extinguishers.
That's called responsibility and proaction.
Great White appears not too smart about these things.
