Mike Malloy

Hi everybody,

I have been listening to Mike Malloy since 2003 - he basically kept me sane from the GWB years through the current nightmare. Anyway, I've noticed in the last month if not more tbat he hasn't mentioned his wife Kathy, who was also his producer. He mentions his daughter a lot, but never Kathy anymore. I'm only asking out of concern for people who have been such a big part of my listening life for so long... Anybody have any info?

3. I noticed that a little while ago also,

She hasn't been on the show, or mentioned. I listen to the podcasts, so I'm a day or two behind, but I rarely miss one.

The website doesn't have a post of hers since May 6. I remember when Mike talked about leaving their "covid hideout", he and Molly were moving somewhere. I don't remember hearing of or from Kathy since then.

I thought maybe I missed the explanation on one of the shows I didn't get to hear. After her cancer ordeal, I hope everything's OK

8. I know this is almost a one month old post

but I just wanted to follow up. I don't know if anybody caught it, but last week Mike said something about not having access to his old computer because it was "divorced" from it. That's a quote. I can't believe he and Kathy would split up and I so hope it's not true.

I sent an email to Mike about a year ago maybe 10 months ago and he replied to me and said dear Steve sadly Kathy and I have decided to go our separate ways. Frankly I was shocked they were married for 23 years and Molly was just about to graduate so I hope that answers your question, even after 23 years when things seem great sometimes they're not. I have absolutely no idea what caused the breakup, but breakups of that nature will always sad! It seems like Molly is very tight with Mike and quite the opposite with her mom That's strange but who knows what went on I hope that answers your question be well
