Fox News anchor Chris Wallace will interview President Trump on Sunday at the White House, according to a Wednesday announcement from the network. Trump last appeared on Wallace's program in November 2018.
The interview "will focus on recent civil unrest across the country, the current status of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States, the 2020 election, including the latest surrounding the Republican National Convention, among other topics," per the announcement.
The appearance on "Fox News Sunday" will mark the president's first Sunday morning show appearance since June 2019 when he sat down with "Meet the Press" moderator Chuck Todd.
The president has criticized Wallace on several occasions, including in an April tweet following one edition of "Fox News Sunday":
"Just watched Mike Wallace wannabe, Chris Wallace, on @FoxNews," Trump tweeted at the time. "I am now convinced that he is even worse than Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd of Meet the Press(please!), or the people over at Deface the Nation. What the hell is happening to @FoxNews. Its a whole new ballgame over there!"

When Trump tweets something like Deface the Nation,
I wonder if he chuckles to himself and thinks how smart he is?
