(26,044 posts)That's unusual for a President; usually, you see big swings and at least some time in positive territory. He theorizes that this means less chance for a surprise result in November, as people made up their minds early on about 45 and are unlikely to change their fully-entrenched opinions at this point.

...but note that it's of registered voters, not likely voters, which probably adds a bit to the pro-Democratic margin.
EDIT: I see this result nudged 538's aggregate up by 0.1%, to give you an idea of the effect of this particular poll (which comes from an outfit they rate as one of more credible, BTW).
