(81,127 posts)Beautiful in multiple ways!
- It's quick. One word, two syllables.
- It's a picture-word. With a VERY publicly-familiar brand name included.
- It casts said VERY publicly-familiar brand name in a negative light by adding the prefix "un" (as in "against" or "not" .
- Its simplicity makes it easy to remember.
There's what you might call "sidecar luster," too!
- It adds a negative light to the "Fox" brand itself. If you're going to "unFox", you're going to do fact-checking or correcting or truth-squadding something that needs it - because that something that needs such treatment is FALSE. It's a LIE. Basically, as the trump game plan seeks to muddy the waters, confuse, distort, and thereby nullify anything that's a problem for them, WE in turn can muddy up his favorite network, and confuse and distort, so that vehicle is suddenly being questioned. Besides, when you say "unFox," you're not suggesting or inquiring or hinting around. You're making a very clear point.
And prepare to aim the same strategies at the "new kid on the block" that has trump's favor right now: OAN. The laughable "One America News Network." And be mindful, Sinclair Broadcasting and the Salem stations are already in line to worship at the altar of the donald.
