They hate Drumpf almost as much as we do, otherwise they wouldn't be actively supporting Joe Biden and now the Democrats running for Senate seats.

Do you people not want their help?

We had a pretty good relationship with Stalin until the major threat was over.

Don't think, though, that I am equating them with Stalin. Or do not appreciate their present efforts.

The thing is, though, that democracy depends on differing views on a level playing field. When this is over, they will be keeping us on our toes by being powerful influences on many of those differing views. This is ultimately a good thing, but we have to be prepared for a deeper level of understanding and arguing on our side.

The current GOP/Trump "base" has no principles that are of any value to this nation.
The current "base" is not made up of Conservatives. They are all bottom feeders and drones.
They are the multi-decades targets of the radical right wing echo chambers and propaganda machines.

I welcome the help of The Lincoln Project. Only time will tell if these guys really get it.

VERY glad to have their help. But remember, they're reaching out from the OTHER side. DO NOT let down your guard.

It remains to be seen whether these folks are our friends. But we definitely do have a shared agenda.

I’ll take their help for the greater good for now. But tomorrow, when spring comes and we can lift our heads and smell the spring air, they will be there chipping away at what we ultimately want - a progressive and equal society. So as nice as that spring air will smell, we will have to return to the dirt and squash their agenda. Because my agenda is vastly different from theirs.

But fr some of them it's going to be a longer run than for others. Some of them want to get rid of Donald to save the Republican Party. Others are more than willing to deconstruct the Republican Party and form something new ... and, yes, it will be conservative. But it will take longer to achieve, if they win out.

I don't know which is which, though I think I know which camp Rick Wilson is inHe was quoted here on DU responding to a Republican tweet to the effect that "those Lincoln Project MF'ers - they are never going to be allowed back into the party." His response was, "You say that like it's a bad thing." I would not call that proof, but it does suggest he might be a deconstructoe.

Like, the "moderate" in "moderate his responses" should have been pronounced "mod-er-ATE" as the verb, instead of "mod-er-IT" as the adjective.

The timing was off, too.

Of course if it pisses Trump off, that's all that matters. I just don't think it's their best effort.

Here in the Lehigh Valley of PA, I see Trump ads all the time. Maybe ten to one Trump ads to Biden ads (and only that one Biden ad). I see Trump ads on the Weather Channel, all the Philly channels, and WFMZ in the Valley. Our side needs to start TV advertising in eastern PA.
