Dismemberment Killing of Tech C.E.O. 'Looks Like Professional Job'

Fahim Saleh, 33, was followed into his luxury Manhattan condo by a man dressed all in black, the official said.

The killer, dressed entirely in black and wearing a black mask, followed the young technology entrepreneur from the elevator of his luxury condo building into his apartment.

Then he used an electrical stun gun to immobilize the entrepreneur, Fahim Saleh, detectives believe.

Some time after, the assailant killed Mr. Saleh, decapitated him and dismembered his body with an electric saw.

The investigation was in its early stages, but that was the chilling account that a law enforcement official briefed on the inquiry gave on Wednesday as detectives continued scrutinizing evidence in the shocking killing of Mr. Saleh, 33. His body parts were found Tuesday in plastic garbage bags in his apartment on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

6. What puzzles me:

Why take the trouble to dismember and pack up in trash bags if you're going to leave it all in the victim's apartment? Seems like that's more of a scenario to scatter the remains around to obscure the vic's identity.

Mr. Saleh's murder reminds me of Jamal Khashoggi's. Anyone know if Mr. Saleh, too, had problems with Prince Malevolent Bone Saw?
