Trump has really screwed himself.

His total inept response to early intervention with the regards to CV-18 has made his self reflecting rallies inoperable. Without positive feedback from his base, the Donald will not be able to campaign. He fucked himself.

I don’t know what kind of response he expected from reporters who he kept waiting in the hot sun. It’s hard to tell.

4. It would have been so easy. Just maintain and support a pandemic response team.

All Trump had to do was listen up to his own team of experts.

The virus would be controlled and he would be a hero, coasting to re-election.

And he couldn't do it.

He's not capable of controlling his emotions enough to accept advice.

If you handed him a pencil, and told him "Sir! Mr. President, sir! I advise you in the strongest terms, please do not poke that pencil in your eye! Please, sir!" you know that pencil is going into his eye.

He could have heeded the CDC warnings in December and made a big deal in getting us prepared for a possible pandemic. Use the Obama playbook and take credit for it. But he didn't and now we living in one.

But no, he made it all about himself and actively interfered with everything the competent people tried to do.

May he FINALLY experience the consequences - all the consequences. First he loses re-election and then face some prosecutions. Aaahh, a girl can dream...

You just give a unifying speech and reassure people that we'll get through this together and you turn it over to the experts, you basically just lead the proceedings so it looks like you're in charge. And everyone is willing to throw money at the problem. Easy.

Ghouliani did a good enough show of it on 9/11. It's not rocket science.

But Donnie couldn't do that. He's incapable of making a simple unifying speech, and he's incapable of listening to experts.

He doesn’t have to get the most votes to win.
He only has to win a few select areas.

None of his usual moves are applicable in this situation.

1. There is no one to attack or disparage.
2. No one to blame. He is responsible.

It’s a fate that would be hard to predict.

And from threats , and policies, and are quickly turning states blue, and insuring these trumper governors who have reopened for him will never be elected again. Medical professionals , teachers , and angry parents, and people who have lost their jobs , and health care in Texas are dramatically turning on all of them now here. Many really pissed they've been stiffed with direct checks , while they get money to millionaires and trump supporters who've donated to his campaign first. The coming trump Depression is causing change very quickly.
