I can't wait until we take back the Senate. Gonna be a whole lot of structural economic changes coming in 2021....

(58,785 posts)She's convinced current leaders that she has the right stuff, and I'm sure that will continue as long as she remains in the senate.
Sanders is not. He's always chosen to self exile, and that's severely limited his ability to have any real effect. His choice, and he's said that his nearly 30 years in congress have been a waste of time.
Remember, senators all have one vote out of 100. They're fairly independent compared to house members, but the senate's still soccer, not golf. The ones whose power exceeds their one vote are in leadership roles, head up committees, play important roles in putting together and advancing significant legislation, can gather allies from one or both sides of the aisle to run the ball to the goal. And so on.
But Warren a doer and an iconoclast. I also look forward to having her as part of what we're going to be doing. Assuming of course that she doesn't leave to serve in another important position. If she does, people will learn the names of some others also doing good things.
