'Could've had Stacey Abrams': Outrage erupts as 'pro-virus' Georgia governor kills mask mandates

Published 1 min ago on July 16, 2020
By David Badash, The New Civil Rights Movement

Welcome to Georgia, the state that ranks eighth in population but fourth in new COVID-19 cases.

As the coronavirus spreads across the Peach State, Republican Governor Brian Kemp on Wednesday issued an executive order banning all cities and town from requiring face masks to be worn. Curiously, the directive came just hours after he met with President Donald Trump.

That means at least 15 cities currently requiring face masks now have to rescind those orders.

Face masks have proven to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus, which is unchecked in the United States, but under control in many other countries across the globe.

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/07/couldve-had-stacey-abrams-outrage-erupts-as-pro-virus-georgia-governor-kills-mask-mandates/

So what does the two major companies or entities that operate at the Hartsfield International Airport, UPS and Delta think of this shit show by Kemp ....................after all UPS and Delta gave money to elect this asshole.......and Hartsfield is run by the FAA and we the taxpayers pay that bill along with the airlines and the passengers..........I for one will not fly into that airport...............

Got curious about Gillum and discovered he'd got caught with a dead body at a wedding he was meant to officiate. Apparently this behavior was brought on by depression over losing the election. Tragic.

When a town or city wishes to institute a mandatory mask order, and the Governor steps in and forbids that, seems like an appropriate time to test whether or not a governor can be sued over Coronavirus negligence.

to keep broadcasting sports on them, to keep allowing them to use them to attract advertisers

from fakenewsradio.org - GEORGIA 14 Georgia 7, Georgia Tech 5, Georgia Southern 2

all those stations yelled HOAX in a covid theater and continue to downplay the risks and make fun of/politicize masks. they deny global warming, lied us into iraq, and llied about immigrants voting to sell their voter suppression

if any of those schools announced merely even that they were discussing looking for apolitical alternatives others would join in and advertisers would head for the hills. the advertising industry wants those ears and will push them to change programming if people are rejecting rw radio. kemp needs those stations and the paid callers ( from russia too) to have any chance of staying in office.

over some of these unis a few years ago with no response, except the uni of colorado.

low level long time activism around the uni of colo may have forced big co limbaugh station KOA to demote him to smaller station preemptively - if there was any news about CU discussing it it would get attention of broncos and rockies and that would be a disaster for KOA.

unless media digs into it there's no way to know

attention but none of them are working now i guess.

another way may be for the community to use the uni as a protest site - basically any major issue is protestable there but stuff like global warming at the florida unis might be potent, or places where the stations are used to sell the republican position on school funding, student loan forgiveness, voting rights, abortion rights etc.

means of spreading usually nasty political propaganda and conspiracy theories within hours to tens of millions across the nation and billions around the planet for years. Young people don't use it, so the effect of its messaging isn't even discussed with other social media. But the older conservatives who spread its lies from a few circles to millions at nearly the speed of light vote in high percentages.

Stupid. I wonder how many kids in college have seen what grandma reads?

Turn them into temporary morgues, park them outside the Governors Mansion (if they have such a thing in GA). Ensure the things are running (I don't care how loud they get, I wouldn't be sleeping next to them - and reefers can get loud) and even if just for show, have people show up with body bags and load the trucks up.

But then Mr. Kemp wouldn't get the hint...

Late life Christian, got a small business PPE loan for $30,000. Bought a new car. Maybe Kemp mass murder will sway a few votes. Brain washing there is vast.

And, of course, I was all-in for Abrams in the general.

I think, with equal and fair access to polling locations for all Georgians, she would have won.
