why do talking heads & chattering class keep telling Trump how he could improve his performance?

Hand wringing. MSNBC.

If only he would do this.

If only he would do that.

Then his slide might not have him in the gutter.

Over and over and over and over this is a topic of discussion.

STOP.

When a man tells you what he is, believe him the first time.

He just doesn't have any motivation to act better.

He just doesn't care, nor will he ever care.

Change the subject to "how can we be rid of him"

Nothing else.

We all know that. But it’s just frustration venting.

Also there are plenty of advice givers for Joe. It’s just hopeful speculation to me.

He is what he is - an unethical, vulgar, low-life, racist, woman-hating, disloyal, ignorant scumbag and I'm just warming up. Every fucking thing associated with him is a con. There is no fucking there there.

They're not getting it right now but try by stoking the scene with items about the 'silent majority' sitting patiently to offer Trump a turn around or how Trump could magically redo the razor-thin margins of 2016's electoral victory or . . .

For the opposition the old maxim is still in play:

When your opponent is digging a hole, stand back and let him continue.

Hillary told us about Trump at the start--what you see is what you get. There is no other Trump but the one we're witnessing in the moment. No campaign manager can turn this around because Trump is the problem. The man cannot help himself. The election thus far has been a referendum on Donald Trump, his incompetence and sociopathy. As long as that continues, Trump is toast.

have to answer for that completely valid charge is Joe Scarborough.

Good old Joe reminds almost daily that he left the republican party.

Then turns around and makes a liar out of himself. Then Mika jumps
on the band wagon and together they tell Trump what he did, how
bad, stupid, inhumane, etc., etc., what he should have done and
he how he can fix the problem HE created.

It has been going on with since 2016. The names and problems
change, most of the time, but it always comes back to the glaring
reality the Joe Scarborough is still a died-in-the-wool, full-fledged
Republican. How can he not be? Because he said so?

Ya...When pigs fly.

Coached like twelve year olds, “If only he stood straighter and memorized a few talking points he could get through this speech..” “He could do it if he would try to unify,..“

As if we were all pulling for him.

For Dems it’s often “is this investigation really going anywhere?” “What do you say to people who say it’s a big waste of money?” “Americans are sick and tired of all the partisan bickering”
