with "standing" that could effectively sue him for those things and bring a legitimate case to court? Are members of the House good enough, or would it have to be a powerful Senate republican, in which case it will never happen?

Could it be a reputable independent attorney? I guess I am just curious as to what the word "standing" means in this instance.

If the House doesn’t impeach him again, the House is complicit. Hawking beans from the Resolute Desk is a definite crime.

Goya products in a tweet similar to what Trump posted, but I haven't heard that charge made against Trump. I don't know enough about the Hatch Act to opine, but it would be nice to have it cleared up.

I'm with you when it comes to the Rose Garden campaign event. That was a disgrace and he used deceit to gather reporters to cover it. It was also troublingly incoherent, but that's another discussion.

I went to the grocery store last Wednesday and I was in a Hispanic area of LA County. In the veggie aisle, the Goya shelves were packed full. Made me smile.

from the 'Hatch Act' on this for pulling this trashy as heck bull.

Ivanka however isn't any more than KAC was when she did something similar. Other then not including the president, VP the big problem seems to be that there isn't a lot of teeth in enforcing the act...

The image of Ivanka Trump drew criticism from government watchdog groups, who said it violates federal rules against top White House employees endorsing particular companies. Those rules apply to Ivanka Trump, as a member of White House staff, but not the president, said government ethics specialists.

This trashy stunt absolutely disgusts me but it's a drop in the bucket compared to how angry and disgusted I am over his allowing Putin to get away with paying to have our service personnel murdered, his not taking fast action to stop the spread of COVID-19 so thousands of people have died and more are going to, his removing important environmental protections, his racist pandering and shit stirring, his constant lying... and so much more.

Until then, organize boycotts of every product they hawk.
