If this is how this nation handles a pandemic, what chance do we have against Climate Change?

If I had children, I would look for ways for them to live outside of the U.S. when they become adults. I'm being totally serious.

This country was built on fear and cheap oil. Every social and economic tendency in America has been to feed our angst and alienation with consumption. It’s just too deep in the culture to be otherwise.
