He was tasked with it, and it has been an utter disaster. First they attacked Fauci, but he was too institutionally and media-savvy to get taken down by the likes of Trump's cohort of incompetents; now, they're going after Birx (it's not Brix, by the way). To be fair, she hasn't covered herself in glory throughout this accumulating catastrophe, but can we all see a coordinated campaign when we see one at this point.
