CNN on Dr. Brix. Is that she is emerging as the most powerful person in the WH on coronavirus, but

some experts warn it may come at a cost.

She was the person behind sending COViD patient information to a new database instead of the CDC

An ex-official according to CNN said her reputation is finished due to her silence when trump suggested injecting disinfect

and is pushing to reopen the schools, though it is unclear if she was behind saying the CDC guidelines were too tough

She has worked in previous administrations

Her management style is described as no nonsense, she is described as dictatorial, and fostering a toxic work environment

As CNN alluded to, 5 months in, the testing labs and rise in hospitalizations has serious issues

Dr. Brix refused an interview for the CNN piece

I have transcribed this the best I could from the CNN report, but it was not complimentary toward Dr. Brix

He was tasked with it, and it has been an utter disaster. First they attacked Fauci, but he was too institutionally and media-savvy to get taken down by the likes of Trump's cohort of incompetents; now, they're going after Birx (it's not Brix, by the way). To be fair, she hasn't covered herself in glory throughout this accumulating catastrophe, but can we all see a coordinated campaign when we see one at this point. They're desperate to take the blame off Trump, of course, but they also have to shield Pence at this point. They're basically trying to pick off each member of the task force in turn.

and I was one who was saying, "Give her a chance" in the beginning. Naiveté got me again. Also, she's ruined scarves for the rest of us. Beautiful squares of textiles, ruined. Kidding/not kidding.
