Rest in peace, John Lewis. We'll take it from here

He was my hero and my friend. He made me think, he made me laugh, he made me dream, and he constantly gave me hope. It's hard to imagine this world, this movement without John Lewis. But we'll figure it out, because he showed us how.

I was blessed to get to hear John Lewis tell his preaching to chickens story four times in person. I have copies of book one and two of March signed my him. The man was a national treasure

He fought to make this country worthy. He brought out the best in us and never gave up on us.

When I think of great Americans he’s among them.
