Not only are Mr Lewis, President Obama, President Clinton and Secretary Clinton in the picture, another legend, to President Obama’s left is Dr Joseph Lowery who also passed away this year. What an amazing group all lined up marching to the Pettus Bridge one more time to call attention to injustice.

The turd in the punch bowl in this is Artur Davis, he turned out to be a shit. Such promise as a young man, Harvard, Harvard Law, Democratic Member of Congress, turncoat Republican, then when he realized the Republican Party would not support him, he tried to come back to the Democratic Party, but it was not easy after a lot of his positions and comments.

I saw this or a picture just like it at the National Voting Rights Museum just over the Pettus (hopefully soon the John Lewis) bridge.

When asked about this picture with two Presidents and the Secretary of State in the picture, Mr Lewis spent the majority of his time Talking about his brother Doctor Lowrey. It was interesting to me and led me to read more on him.

10. I was feeling such despair today, over the fear I have for our country.

Tonight, I wept a whole lot of tears for the loss of John Lewis. But as I think about his life, and what he did with it, I have renewed hope. He will teach and guide us for many many, years to come.
