Why Portland? We are all asking. One answer is obvious. Gov is a woman. Strong,

competent, Democrat. Woman. Dominate the women. We have a predator squatting in OUR HOUSE, so it does not surprise me in the least that Portland would be chosen as the site of their trial run of a coup.

And weak. And craven. What a pathetic loser.

If he weren’t so dangerous, he’d be monstrous joke.

5. I saw Governor Brown last

night being interviewed. I am positive she is a good Governor, but I was not impressed with her response to the questions. She prefaced almost each answer with the delaying tactic: “That’s a very good question.” She seemed stunned by what was happening. I was not impressed with Senator Merkley, either. The one who impressed was/is the Attorney General. She is actually doing something. I can only hope that Governor Brown had a part in the decision to bring charges. If I were an Oregonian, I would be furious at the weak response from Brown and Merkley.

11. I have read Brown's statements put out and they are very strong. I didn't hear the one you are

talking about, I read her fb page messages. She has made very strong statements and works hand in hand, that is why she is so effective. Every step of the way with both protest and covid has been responsible and pragmatic. I think she has handled both issues well. She does an excellent job addressing racist and discriminate systematic behavior in police and other institutions.

So that was the easiest, most expedient federal thugs that could be turned on citizens "legally."

They board buses and ask everyone if they are a citizen and ask for their ID. At BP checkpoints they do the same thing with cars. It really does feel like a "Papers, please" moment.

It just occurred to me that if -45 were female, he'd be something like a cross between ghislaine maxwell and leona hemsley (sp?).

9. Having watched this situation in Portland for weeks I have a suggestion.

There is a violent element that usurps these protest in Portland. They trash, , loot, and burn. This federal building that is the focal point was trashed by rioters on the first night of the protest and it has been the focal point of "non sanctioned" protest activity that culminates into trouble every night as midnight approaches.
Some on the front line at the fences are bent on provoking the situation. The have thrown projectile at the police. Bottles, rocks, fireworks, etc. They trigger a flashpoint where the legally permitted protests become an illegal assembly. The police warn them to disperse or non-lethal deterrents will be used. The crowd refuses and the police use nonlethal deterrents. People hanging back that aren't involved in whatever triggered it get caught up in it.
I would suggest staying the f..k away from that fenced off federal building. The police clearly have to protect it and the other buildings that have been trashed.

such elements bent on provoking. That being said, Portland is very liberal and is thus a good target for Trump tactics.

Bush once called Portland Little Beirut.
