Do you know any Democrats who won't wear a mask?

I know there are plenty of Republicans who value life over ideology. But what about Democrats going counter to expectations?

1. No, but I know several Republicans who are taking this dead seriously.

One is my 78-year old cousin who is so conservative he says the Tea Party was too liberal for him. I got an email from him about a month ago with the subject line “COVID”. I was afraid to open it, figuring it would be some conspiracy theory. Instead, he was checking to see if hubster and I were okay and making sure we were wearing our masks. He assured me most of the family were following protocol..except for his crazy sister who is even more right wing wacko than him.

I don’t think I know anyone who isn’t masking and distancing regardless of politics.

2. Our neighbors are Colombian immigrants - all Democrats

and every night since they've opened their pool about a week ago they have numerous non-mask wearing people in their yard of all ages - and the faces change fairly frequently.

The family is comprised of quite a few folks over the age of 60 and undoubtedly someone will bring COVID to one of their parties and the results will be much as you'd expect.

I don't - and can't - understand it.

4. I cannot even get my sons to visit me because they love me, do not want to kill me and think I

will have a lot of fun being old, lol. I just had another conversation with another son that really wants to get back here, and to mountains and though this would be an ideal time for him, he can't risk me. He will not even go grab a beer in outdoors place because he feels a responsibility to servers.

If you look at the protest and number of masks, the lack of spike in places with protest, we see it to be true.

5. My daughter visited my mother and stood outside with a mask on, we can't get them to go outside

... and just stay away from other humans.

I'm not wanting to get CV19 cause of the kids would never let me hear the end of it as part of the reason.
