More protests?
Calling or writing to congress?
I feel really helpless about this.
Edit: I'm referring to peaceful protesters being taken off in unmarked vans without any kind of due process.

(6,280 posts).... And their uniforms have no noticeable identification. The chief of police needs to take 10 police cars, and two SWAT teams, surround them, pull them out of the vehicles, disarm them, put them on the ground, and demand proper identification, and the person, persons, or agency that authorized their actions. They are no different then a group of anti-government militia types seeking vigilante justice. If they do have identification, and proper authorization, inform them that as long as they present themselves as they have at the time of the current shakedown, this exact action will take place again. Proper authorities well repeat the demands for proper identification and authorization because.... "How do we tell if it's you or not? Could be a copycat group, but we won't know until proper procedures are followed."
That's what I would do if I was the mayor or the chief of police, and be damned the consequences. Authorization or not, as long as these people are unidentifiable by local authorities, they are subject to detainment.

(1,648 posts)Arrest them for unlawfully carrying out illegal orders and follow up their chain of command with arrests. Call out their bully tactics and force the Constitutional crisis they are pushing, before they grow stronger and get more extreme.
Everyone will see the bullshit for what it is and the Billy Barr and underlings will be viewed anti-American for their jackboot ploy.
