We need a list of legislation to pass to strengthen our democracy

As we're right on the edge of, or arguably ankle-deep in, fascism now, if we take back the White House and Senate we need to quickly act to pass legislation to strengthen our democracy and prevent this from ever happening again. We may even need to attempt to amend the Constitution.

Let's make a list- what do we need to do? If Trump has done this country a single favor, it's pointing out the weak points of our democratic structure.

I'll start- Congress' oversight ability of the President needs to be MASSIVELY strengthened. And the President's executive authority needs to be clearly, significantly restrained from where it is.

What else?

1. And legislation needs to beef up areas of where rump and cronies did things that shouldn't be done

such as threaten DACA numerous times, threaten the use of executive actions numerous times to attempt to bypass or change laws, etc. A whole slew of crap that rump tried and/or did.

I think we need a Constitutional amendment to guarantee EVERY person's right to VOTE, and to have their vote COUNTED! In addition to what you're saying. End gerrymandering, secure voting machines with paper trails, stop vote suppression! AND overturn Citizens United and get money the F*CK out of our elections!

Add in strengthening Executive branch oversight, rebuild our alliances that Cockwomble has trashed, reviving Iran nuclear deal, Paris climate-change accord, WHO, UN, protecting IG's/whistleblowers, turn the Dept. of Crony Protection back into the Department of Justice, rebuild health-care, consumer financial protection, wipe out tRump's tax giveaways and restore some sanity to tax laws.

Basically, erase everything tRump has done in his term....
