Kanye West will appear on Oklahoma presidential election ballot
The rap superstar announced he was running for the White House on 4 July, tweeting: We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States.

I thought he said he wasn't running. I've been personally trying to ignore this story because I didn't think he was serious but this seems to be the first sign that he is.

To hell with the lot of them.

(3,282 posts)I don't understand why this is the conclusion that people jump to. Black voters don't automatically vote for black candidates just because they are black.
There have been polls asking people their approval of West, the only group that had him above about 10% approval was REPUBLICANS. A recent poll that included West had trump doing a points or two better when he was OFF the ballot.
In short, Kanye hurts Trump.

...Herman Cain and Ben Carson. GOPers clearly thought those two could help lure us away from the Democratic party and into the GOP tent, but the support wasn't there for either of them. BC is a brilliant neurosurgeon, but clueless about politics, and HC is a nutcase pizzaman.
