The convention is from the 17th to the 20th. The nominee will be in place by the 14th. I wonder who it will be.

1. All I know is that the Biden camp is about to get a lot of free media.

This will be as valuable as campaigning.

Leak out different names for 10 days. Media will cover.

Leak out the actual nominee for 5 days. Media will cover.

Have a formal speech/online celebration. Media will cover.

Post announcement, keep having online town halls, etc. Media will cover.

Online DNC Convention. Media will cover.

That will get him almost to Labor Day with very little actual campaigning. That’s excellent for Team Biden!

2. So many good choices available

I hope he chooses Val Deming or Susan Rice. I'd love for it to be Michelle Obama or Oprah Winfrey, but we know that won't happen.

3. This will be exciting. Whoever he picks, I know Biden will have put enormous thought

into it and I'll enthusiastically support any pick he makes. I still hope it is Susan Rice, but there's nobody on his short list I wouldn't be proud to have on this ticket.
