NYPD officer injured during arrest of women smearing paint on ‘Black Lives’ mural outside Trump Tower

A New York City police officer was injured Saturday while arresting vandals who were smearing paint on a “Black Lives Matter” street mural outside Trump Tower.


Two women were arrested after police said they dumped cans of black paint on the block-long mural on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue.

It marked the third such act of vandalism targeting the street art since Mayor Bill de Blasio helped paint the mural in front of President Trump’s namesake tower on July 9.

Bystanders shot video of the chaotic scene showing police surrounding a Black woman as she used her hands to spread paint on the mural's bright yellow letters.

4. Have they released their names? I may be wrong but I have sneaky suspicion these are agitators

and they may not even be from the area. Recently 2 black women were arrested at a City Council meeting on wearing masks in my area. What stood out to me was the report said they were not from the area. I thought, hmm, why are you here protesting at a local city council meeting that has nothing to do with you? Strange. I googled their names and found that they had been arrested in different states protesting various things. Both Republicans. One had run for office. Of course they both praise Trump. Sound like the next Diamond and Silk wannabes. I have a sneaking suspicion, these people are being paid by somebody to go from state to state. She sure looks like one of the idiots arrested at that city council meeting.
