Beautiful Tribute to John Lewis from the Lincoln Project*

This November, Americans will have the opportunity to embody Lewis’ spirit, take up his mantle and carry on his enduring legacy by exercising their right to vote.

*(it pains me to have to say it, but for that handful that incessantly wants to argue about the efforts of LP and are intent on destroying this thread by starting a fight about Lincoln Project and Never Trumpers, please ignore this and move on. John Lewis deserves better than that. Please)

It brought a tear to my eye and recently I thought that nothing could do that again. He will be missed.

I keep thinking of this quote from 'To Kill a Mockingbird' "Miss Jean Louise, stand up. Your father's passing".

On the wings of angels john Lewis.
