They are betting that a "just big enough" plurality of voters is stupid enough to believe his absurd and transparent lies.

(2,668 posts)for the Bare minimum win through the EC. I have no idea what battleground states deal with. I live in Oregon we have voters who care and protesters and Trump idiots who live outside the cities.

(2,023 posts)The 2016 result was a quirk of the electoral college system and the way the national popular vote just happened to be distributed. It had to be distributed JUST SO for the orange con man to win. That was a mathematical improbability. The national popular vote margin is going to be quite a bit larger this time, I am sure, and so that won't happen again. It's an even bigger improbability this time, and that it could happen twice in a row makes it even more improbable. If that con man gets a second term, it'll be because of cheating. That's why we need not just a win, but a wipeout. Make it so much of a popular vote tsunami that even the Republicons' cheating won't be enough.

Plus the ongoing campaigns on; mail in ballots, voter registration, statistical manipulation, lies, corrupt vote gathering, etc.
