I got in my facebook a picture, twice now. It says the woman pictured is the co-founder of BLM.

Sounds like bullshit to me.

I tried looking up where the picture originated, all I found were far-right blogs and websites.

If from a specific person, I would ask them for more information as to where the picture and information came from.

From my research, coming from the other direction:

In 2013, Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi formed the Black Lives Matter Network. I then read the bios of the three women on Wikipedia and don't see any marxist connections. They are all highly educated women who are doing valuable work for their communities.

Basically, I agree - sounds like bullshit. Maybe flag the picture on Facebook as questionable?
