Esther Salas family murdered

Just seen this on twitter, I'm guessing the authorities are saying it's all unrelated and
was just random.

US. District Judge Esther Salas is presiding over the Deutsche Bank/Jeffrey Epstein civil case after it was assigned to her 4 days ago.

Her husband and son were shot this evening by a gunman dressed as a FedEx driver. Son died, husband is in critical condition. No coincidence.

5. As cases against Deutsche Bank go, the Epstein part doesn't seem major.

Stockholders suing the bank for money lost due to compliance fines resulting from association with Epstein. But the Deutsche Bank, Danske Bank and FBME Bank associations with organized crime, Russia, terrorists...

This is from WaPo, whose coverage so far for some reason does not yet mention the assignment of the Deutsche Bank case.

In any case, how dreadful for them and this wife and mother. He was their only child.

to go after a Judge for a case they had been assigned just a few days before.

There is a whole history of cases she presided over that will need to be looked at. They will also need to look into the possibility that the shooting was unrelated to the judge's work. It's possible that someone else in the house are the target, especially considering that she wasn't shot.

It's certainly not random. Nobody randomly knocks on a door and shoots the person who answers. This was clearly specific, but we are making some assumptions that we probably should wait on.

Yeah, it's tempting to make the jump to this being Epstein related, but it very well may not be.

a little better than that. They wouldn't come in guns blazing and not know she was home if she was the target of some Russian mafia hit man or take a minute to find her.

its pretty simple, you ask for the target at the door saying they have to sign for the package personally. If they don't come you leave to try again later. Killing other people without them means the federal protection folks are going to show up and you'll not get another chance.


It wouldn't be the first time somebody tried to kill a defense attorney.

The Deutche Bank cases are all about money laundering for the Russian mob which of course involves Trump and to a lesser degree Epstein. The judge would have say so on discovery and what gets made public.

And with William Barr's connections to Epstein, he should recuse himself from any oversight of this, of course he won't though.

As to why husband and son were shot and not the judge? We don't know who was the actual target. Also, sounds like husband was the one who opened the door. And son came down the stairs when he heard commosion.

Son was shot because he ran to the aid of his father. Shooter made no attempt to search for the judge.
