Seriously, anyone who has been exposed to social media since the 90's knows about the dangers of an open and unregulated platform. Heck, we saw inappropriate content, bullying, petty personalities, and the random user spewage back in the days of bulletin board portals on 32k modems (if you were lucky to have one). There were cute little charactitures of the different types of net personalities widely available to the public way before I signed up for my first newsgroup in 1996 on my first home PC.
So, they run their social media ideas up the flagpole, and think that is all they have to do because, like ma, doesn't everyone believe and think like they do? Why were they suprised there could be people who would troll them back if they didn't have some sort of moderation?
