If someone from either party has told you

in person or on social media in the last 6 months that they will never vote for Joe Biden, do you think after all that has happened in the United States, they will end up voting for Biden or are they a lost cause.

His reasoning 4 years ago was “we need change, what harm can he do.” Ha! He’s slowly seen the error of his ways and will vote for Joe. Hope there’s more like him.

All Dems are liberal socialists bent on breaking the bank with social programs.

This is different. All Reps are bent on breaking the bank with military programs.

My very right-wing fundie sister surprised me by saying she'd given up on Trump (just a couple of weeks after even being willing to defend him on the stupid injecting Lysol thing -- trying to claim that was just his non-expert way of suggesting something brilliant) because of the way he was encouraging the no-maskers and open-up protesters.

She said she was considering herself an independent now, mostly Libertarian, and was clearly in a "a pox upon both their houses" mood about the major parties. I'm pretty sure that means she's going to vote for some obscure candidate (not necessarily the Libertarian), or write someone in, but not pick either Trump or Biden.

She isn't refusing (not that she'd even stated an adamant refusal, it was simply clear she wasn't suddenly pro-Biden) to vote for Biden because she'd "rather see it all burned down", however. I think she thinks it's all burning down no matter what she does, not that she's hoping to help cause that.

One is a cousin, one is an ex. The ex likes to pull my leg, but I think he likes Trump because Trump "likes the ladies". He doesn't seem to be campaigning, so I ignore him. However, the cousin is very Christian, and has been pro-Trump because he is a staunch Christian Republican. But I think the COVID-19 fuck-up is getting to him.

There will be those who feel compelled to write-in the name of a fictional character or even a well known politician who has ZERO chance of winning enough Electors. They're pouting. They're discarding their vote as a protest.

Idiots.
