Experts say the 'cognitive test' Trump was given hardly a representation of his mental capacity

President Donald Trump bragged about taking a cognitive test that he said the doctors were “surprised” that he passed. The reality, however, is that the “test” was hardly a representation of what people with suspected dementia or Alzheimer’s disease take. Trump’s father had Alzheimer’s, though studies have shown that if your mother has the disease you are more likely to develop it than if your father suffered from it.

The New York Times reported Monday that doctors agree the test wasn’t definitive, much less diagnostic.

Fox News host Chris Wallace questioned Trump on the test, saying that one question even asked him to identify an elephant, which Trump didn’t contradict. That’s not a dementia test.

“It is a 10-minute screening exam meant to highlight possible problems with thinking and memory,” said the Times.

“The way our president is having a conversation about mental health is not helpful,” said Dr. Jason Karlawish, who serves as a dementia researcher at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine.

It surprises anybody if you want my opinion. rump is screwed up to no end and doesn't have a whit of intelligence...rump is far more likely to be suffering the end stage of some STD before I ever believed that (1) he recognized the test (2) he actually picked up a pencil and did the test (3) he could read (4) why is someone giving him a competency test? (5) idiot, you don't get 'graded' on the test, other than to evaluate for other things such as perhaps a possibility of Alzheimer's (but like I said above, he's got an end stage STD, which may explain why he's so far off the damn wall sometimes). Idiot.

And the only competency test result that I've seen that's valid in my mind, are his 20,000+ lies, his disregard for life and the rule of law, and his blatantly illegal acts against protesters, DACA students, persons of color, just about everybody but his KKK buddies. This is a gross display of his 'in'competence and failure to establish that he's competent.

Let alone him bragging about it.

He truly is the most dangerous clown.

as if it is something to be proud of, a 10 year old could pass it. I want to know what 5 questions he thought were hard, a 10 year old could get a prefect score on it in 5-10 minutes.

He's lying.

when, specifically, it was done. Was it the mysterious November visit to Walter Reed? Did they find him picking his navel and babbling in a corner of the Lincoln bedroom or something?
