for at least the past 4 years knows about the unholy alliance the police there have with the white supremacist group Patriot Prayer, of which nearly all of Portland's "riot squad" officers are members, as well as a disconcerting number of the upper ranks who are not only sympathetic to Patriot Prayer, but actively enable them to instigate violence against peaceful protesters in Portland with zero fear of legal retribution.

So, no, Portland PD isn't going to do jack-shit about stopping their fellow goon-buddies from the ranks of the feds. Who do you think invited them there in the first place?

10. Yes, it could take a while, but maybe not.

The thing about Portland is that it has a very strong and vocal citizenry that skews younger than most cities and their protesters have actually been under siege for years, not just the past few weeks or even months. That factor alone might give Portland the best shot at defunding the goons and reapportioning monies perhaps long before everyone else in the U.S. gets serious about the jackboot thugs in their own towns.
