I guess no one learned from NY's example. Like a bad horror movie, where the people venture into the murder basement instead of fleeing for safety.

2. I'm so angry at my fellow Californians. We had this under control and then

screwed up.

3. For the longest time I was really surprised that California with such huge population centers

was able to keep the numbers down while here in the New York area things were so out of control.

It seems like the rest of the country just saw it as a New York area thing and after a while got too complacent.

4. I think CA and WA has Wuhan version of virus and NY got Europe version

Europe version is more contagious.

So at first we were lucky because we had the less contagious version.
And then our mayors,counties, and state reacted well and quickly...but the pressure to reopen was so strong, that the will was weakened.

San Francisco was especially great and amazing in how quickly they acted. They had learned from HIV virus...so that mayor was early and strong in responding. But now its in the prisons, warehouses, farmworker communities as well as high rises. And while it may not be obvious there is a persistent stupid 35% of California which is full on Trumpidiots.

Most are inland counties....or rural counties.....but then you have Orange county...which is large and redder than red.
