I'd want to do as much damage to trump as I could. There's a good chance that Cohen would not have had the option of home detention anyway because of his age and no medical conditions I'm aware of. They were trying to buy his silence with the release to home.

I can't see any way they can treat Cohen differently than the other Trump jailbirds who've been released. Bill Barr is going to pay the piper sooner or later. I hope he's disbarred and shamed into the dustbin of history.
