Another $3-trillion is the cost for tRump's total mishandling of the COVID pandemic

The latest tune being sung by the Rs is that the $3-trillion in additional relief funding included in the already passed House bill (the Heroes Act) is “too much,” and “irresponsible,” and that some “common sense” needs to be applied in determining who gets what. What they will never acknowledge is that that $3-trillion price tag is the cost that was created by tRump’s absolute bungling of the COVID-19 response.

Think of it this way: if you don’t pay your home owner’s insurance premium, the cost to you to rebuild your home when it burns down is going to be astronomical compared to what it would cost you if you had insurance. Same thing with your car. Same thing if you don’t have health insurance. If you detect a leaking pipe in your wall you can fix it ASAP, or you can ignore it or deny it’s a problem and let the problem go until the leak expands, ruining your floors and walls. Guess which costs more to repair?

The REAL cost of tRump’s disastrous “leadership” in this virus crisis needs to fall squarely on his shoulders, the shoulders of his enablers and the Federal government that by extension has failed the American people. They - not the average American - need to bear the burden of their mistakes, just as surely as an uninsured homeowner will bear the burden for any costs incurred by not insuring their property.

the other, we have the responsibility and will be paying. We would be even if we didn't. The questions are how's it to be divvied up, what goes unpaid and who does without, and how much will the Republicans steal from us in the process.

To have good government, we have to elect good people. Good character. Good judgement. Good ability.

We were on course to, and SHOULD have, swept the nation blue in 2016. Finally, 104 days to 2020.
